GEORGIA CLUB- The Georgia Club is one of the largest and best state clubs offered at Howard. It was founded in 1977 by Robert J. Holley II, Garland R. Hunt and Michael D. Stinson. It’s a way for everyone from the same state to bond together, making everyone feel at home. I love being apart of the Geogia Club! It is a way for me to be around people from my homestate and the south in general, that I have things in common with.
DELTA SIGMA THETA SORORITY, INC.- Delta Sigma Theta is a non-profit organization that strives for academic excellence and providing public service all over, making it one of the largest black women organizations in the world. It was founded right here at Howard University in 1913, which marked it as one of the Divine 9.
CAMPUS P.A.L.S- Campus P.A.L.S., an acronym for Passing Along Lessons Socially, is a student organization that aims to mentor freshmen and help them adjust to college life by becoming involved at Howard University. Campus P.A.L.S focus on social networking, family, scholarship, leadership, and community service for all new freshman.
HUSA- The Howard University Student Association was established in 1961. The purpose is provide input into the University’s decision-making process as a spokesperson for the students; and to maintain communications concerning student’s interests and concerns in all of the schools and colleges.
TARGET H.O.P.E- Target H.O.P.E is a non-profit organization founded in 1994 in Chicago by Mr. Euclid Williamson. The Howard University Chapter was established in 2005 with a primary goal of fostering a family atmosphere for all members and establishing a lasting result that will carry on forever through the community.
