Dr. Beatrice Adderly-Kelly is a full Professor. She has over 35 years of teaching and administrative experience in higher education. Her entire academic career is promoting and advancing the academic achievement of undergraduate, graduate, and professional health sciences students, and to mentoring junior and senior faculty. She is currently the Dean of my school,the College of Pharmacy, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences at Howard University. In this position she is responsible for nine academic programs, 131 full-time and part time faculty members, 32 staff and a student enrollment of approximately 1100 undergraduate, graduate and professional students. She also holds high positions in many other organizations, such as the District of Columbia Nurses Association, District of Columbia League for Nursing, Gamma Beta Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and Prince George’s chapter of the American Red Cross. Dr. Adderley-Kelly has conducted research in the areas of Breast and Colorectal Cancer, Obesity, Health Promotion, and many more. Her publications include chapters in books, numerous articles in peer reviewed journals, etc.
